We Are a Licensed and Insured Child Care Learning Center
EarlyBird ChildCare & Learning, LLC. opened in June 2011 in Andover, Kansas. I, Cristi Bigley, am the owner, director, and lead classroom teacher. My program is family-based, private, and excellent in child development, learning, and quality.
All of the teaching staff here at EarlyBird ChildCare & Learning, LLC. have been thoroughly checked and cleared by the KBI, as well as met all state and center mandated training and health evaluations. Each teacher holds a CDA, associates or bachelors in early childhood development and/or elementary teaching.
Here at EarlyBird ChildCare & Learning, LLC., we pride ourselves on setting high standards and providing the utmost quality care and learning environment.
We are members of the CACFP Food Program, NAEYC, KAEYC, ECDO of Kansas, ChildCare Aware of Kansas, Childstart and Butler County Smart Start. We are a trusted and highly recommended day care center here in Butler County.
The campus offers two sides dedicating a curriculum and learning atmosphere to children ages 2-3 and 4-6.

The center is set up for preparing your child for kindergarten. Teaching writing, counting, reading, and basic independent skills. Each month has a new focus and theme. All the toys and materials brought into the facility will help your child with their development. It is a structured facility that recognizes the importance of education, featuring a playroom, classroom, nap room, dining area/kitchen, and movie time room.
Our learning room (classroom) is set up with tables and chairs for each child, a dry erase wallboard, and wall chalkboard.
Each day the kids will have craft time with a main character or art focus of the week/month, so be prepared for refrigerator art. We believe that art infuses the child's growth and personality, allowing them to explore.
Our kitchen setup also features a table and chair for each child, with breakfast, snacks and lunch served. There will be a designated helper of the day to help serve and pick up after each other, teaching the kids teamwork skills and self-confidence.
Our playroom is set up with everything your child needs to grow their imagination, we have puzzles, easels, train sets, farmhouses, a puppet stage with hand puppets, musical instruments, play kitchen, etc. Each day will consist of nap time and of course, outdoor playtime (weather permitting).

Our mission statement is "Where care, fun, and learning begin.” As a mother of 3 children, I know the importance of structure, learning, and character and imagination building. That is why I have made our mission for the learning center to have this strong focus and to be dedicated into helping parents prepare their children, offering child care and preschool in one. This is a positive and loving environment that will allow your child's personality to shine. They will learn new things, have new hobbies, and make new friends in a
structured setting.
